  • If you select our private or individual options for pet cremation, your pet’s ashes will be returned to you so you can place them in a special urn or box.  During our communal cremation selection, your pet will be cremated with other pets, and their ashes will be scattered on private land or a private farm.

  • Our team at Faithful Companions in New Albany can arrange for pick up of your pet at your home or your veterinarian’s clinic. Your vet may be able to drop off your pet at our facility as well if you request it. We provide this convenient service to families because we know they are grieving and need help.

  • Laws for where cremains can be scattered vary by state. After pet cremation in New Albany Indiana, pet ashes can be scattered on private property if you have the landowner’s permission, or in designated scattering gardens in specific cemeteries. Indiana law requires you to file a form with the county within ten days of scattering, ensuring the process complies with the law and is environmentally responsible.
