Cremation

Cremation is beginning to be a popular choice at the time of passing of a pet. It gives the family many different options to choose from, rather than traditional burial. Families can now keep the remains in an urn at home, scatter them in a favorite place or destination and you can even bury the remains, just as in a traditional burial.

Faithful Companions has always offered three types of cremation with urns available for purchase after the completion of the cremation. We now are also offering two packages, which include the cremation, choice of urns and memorials.

Private

With this selection, your pet alone is placed into the cremation chamber. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremains are removed from the cremator and returned to you for transferring to an urn of your choice. You may also bury or scatter the cremains.*

Individual

With this selection, your pet is one of two during the cremation. The smallest pet is placed into a stainless steel cremation pan, which is designed to keep the pets separate from one another. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremains are removed from the cremator and returned to you for transferring to an urn of your choice. You may also bury or scatter the cremains.*

Most crematories do not use a cremation pan during the cremation and place multiple pets throughout the cremator. Our process ensures the cremains you receive back are definitely yours.

Communal

With this selection, multiple pets are cremated together. Cremains are not able to be returned to families. Ashes are scattered on a local farm in a private ceremony.

*All cremains are returned with a packet of grief material and a Certificate of Cremation.

"Great people! Service was quicker than I could have imagined and I had my beloved pet back the next day. My vet referred me to them because she uses them on a daily basis, and now I know why. I chose to get an urn and they had a room with everything they offer. You can tell that they care and want to help people."

Aaron,

I want to thank you for the way you handled our dog Taz's death. He had been a member of our family and a constant companion for 16 years. My family and I were devastated by the loss of our beloved pet. You and your staff showed great compassion and care in helping to guide us through the process. Thank you so much!
